Football Recap: Northridge Raiders vs. NorthWood Panthers
Northridge had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it four. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to the NorthWood Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 17-16 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake Scholl, who rushed for 26 yards and one TD, and also threw for 61 yards and one touchdown. Keivontre Copeland also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.
As for NorthWood, they now have a winning record of 3-2. The 22-point effort marked their lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Deondray Monroe was the offensive standout of the matchup as he picked up 93 receiving yards and one score.
