The third road match was the charm for the Dudley Panthers, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past T.W. Andrews 73-42 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Dudley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Dudley found their leader in underclassman Cortney "CJ" Jones, who scored 25 points along with 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of Dudley's points. Another player making a difference was Carlos "CJ" Neely, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals.
Dudley's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for T.W. Andrews, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dudley will take on High Point Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for T.W. Andrews, they will be playing at home against Parkland at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
