Lyndon hadn't done well against West Franklin recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers won by a set and slipped past the Falcons 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Lyndon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 25-19.

The victory got Lyndon back to even at 10-10. As for West Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Lyndon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against McLouth on the 27th. As for West Franklin, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Maranatha Christian Academy on the 27th.
