Baseball Game Preview: South Decatur Cougars vs. Waldron Mohawks

For the second straight game, South Decatur will face off against Waldron. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

South Decatur fell victim to Waldron and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mohawks. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Decatur saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corbin Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

South Decatur moved to 3-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Waldron, they moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
