Baseball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Summer Creek Bulldogs, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

King's loss dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for Summer Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. King will challenge rival Humble at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Summer Creek is set to take on their familiar foe Goose Creek Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
