Volleyball Recap: Gorham Takes Down Bonny Eagle in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gorham walked away with it. They won by a set and slipped past the Bonny Eagle Scots 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.

Gorham found their leader in freshman Ava Scott, who had 20 digs and two aces. Those 20 digs set a new season-high mark for Scott.

Gorham was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Gorham's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Bonny Eagle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Gorham has already played their next match (against Cheverus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bonny Eagle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
