Softball Recap: McGehee Takes a Loss

McGehee lost against DeWitt back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The McGehee Owls took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeWitt Dragons. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McGehee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for DeWitt, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

McGehee will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Drew Central at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for DeWitt, they will take on Smackover at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (DeWitt 1.9, Smackover 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
