Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Johnson

Johnson extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sara Mcfarlin. The Johnson Jaguars blew past the Reagan Rattlers 51-28 on Friday thanks in part to Mcfarlin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Another player making a difference was Latisha Ornelas, who posted eight points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Payton Obringer and Renata Parga certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Obringer had seven points, while Parga put up five points.

Johnson's record is now 18-8. As for Reagan, they dropped their record down to 14-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Johnson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-19 win against Madison on the 8th. As for Reagan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-51 victory against LEE on the 8th.
