Baseball Game Preview: Righetti Warriors vs. Lompoc Braves

For the second straight game, Righetti will face off against Lompoc. The Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Braves at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Righetti took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Lompoc get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Jacob McMillan was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run.

In other batting news, Tim DeVan was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Lompoc is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10. As for Righetti, their record is now 14-9.
