Basketball Recap: Paramount Takes a Loss

Paramount was the 60-58 winner over Valley Christian when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Paramount Pirates took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Christian Defenders. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paramount's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Valley Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Paramount and Katella will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian and Savanna will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Savanna is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
