Linn had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   3-2 W against the Fulton Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Linn was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-14, 18-25, 25-22,  15-12.
 Carley Brandt paced Linn's offense, picking up 15 kills. Brandt got some help from  Nicole Grellner and her 44 assists.  Kendra Robinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
 Fulton's loss  came despite strong showings from  Estella Vanschenkhof and  Bre Knighten.  Vanschenkhof  had ten  digs, four  aces,  and one  block, while  Knighten  had 16  kills, 16  digs,  and one  block. Vanschenkhof is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tatum Dailey, who  had 22  digs and one assist.
Linn's win bumped their record up to 18-7-3. As for Fulton, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record  this season.
 Linn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  victory against Eugene on the 14th. As for Fulton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss against Hallsville on the 14th.
