Valley Christian is 2-8 against Bentley since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field against the Phoenix at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

They came up short against Athenian, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Phoenix's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bentley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
