Football Recap: Heide Trask Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against South Lenoir last Friday, Heide Trask came back down to earth. The Titans took a blow against the East Duplin Panthers on Friday, falling 38-6. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Panthers are ranked 123rd).

Despite the loss, Heide Trask still got an impressive performance from Kamajah Wilson, who rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. The Titans also got a significant boost from Tyreek Moore, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.

Aaron Hall produced another solid effort rushing for 101 yards and three TDs on only eight carries for East Duplin. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Hall a new career-high.

Heide Trask now has a losing record of 3-4. As for East Duplin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Heide Trask didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-14 loss against Southwest Onslow on the 17th. As for East Duplin, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-13 victory against Clinton on the 17th.
