Shadow Mountain's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Greenway Demons 3-0. The Matadors were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Demons, so the Matadors were just returning the favor.

Shadow Mountain not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Greenway between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

Shadow Mountain's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for Greenway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Shadow Mountain and Paradise Honors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Greenway, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Goldwater at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
