Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Corinth Holders walked away with it. They never let the Purnell Swett Rams get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Pirates have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Corinth Holders is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Purnell Swett, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

Looking ahead, Corinth Holders will square off against Leesville Road on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pride have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. Purnell Swett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
