            Soccer Preview: Bessemer City vs. West Lincoln        
        
		
        
        
            The Bessemer City Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to  challenge the West Lincoln Rebels  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Bessemer City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9  goals per game  this season.
On Wednesday, Bessemer City didn't have quite enough to beat Lincolnton and fell  3-2. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of four yellow cards before it was all over.
 Yair Avila and  Brayan Perez scored both of Bessemer City's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.
 Meanwhile,  after failing to score in their last  contest, West Lincoln made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Cherryville  on Wednesday. They never let the Ironmen get on the board and left with  a   9-0  victory. West Lincoln might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three  goals or more this season.
 West Lincoln now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Bessemer City, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
 Bessemer City was able to grind out a solid  win over West Lincoln in their previous matchup  back in August, winning  5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
