Basketball Recap: West 50th Street Comes Up Short

West 50th Street was the 62-57 winner over Randolph Campus when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The West 50th Street Seahawks were dealt a 78-35 loss at the hands of the Randolph Campus Cougars on Saturday. The matchup marked the Seahawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West 50th Street dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Randolph Campus, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West 50th Street will head out to take on Norman Thomas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West 50th Street is facing Norman Thomas at the right time seeing as Norman Thomas is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Randolph Campus, they will venture away from home to square off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Randolph Campus likes a good challenge.
