Softball Recap: Tidewater Academy Warriors vs. Fuqua Falcons
Sadly, Tidewater Academy is still looking for their first win of the season after four contests. They suffered a rough 16-0 loss at the hands of the Fuqua Falcons on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tidewater Academy of the 13-11 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.
For Fuqua's part, Marissa Dempsey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.
