Basketball Game Preview: Highmore/Harrold Pirates vs. Ipswich Tigers

The Highmore/Harrold Pirates are taking a road trip to take on the Ipswich Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Highmore/Harrold is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were outmatched by Roncalli and fell 68-33.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ipswich). Everything went their way against Sunshine Bible Academy on Friday as Ipswich made off with a 68-42 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-9.

Ipswich has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points over those games. As for Highmore/Harrold, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Highmore/Harrold strolled past Ipswich in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 38-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highmore/Harrold since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
