Basketball Game Preview: Ozona Lions vs. Eldorado Eagles

Ozona is 2-8 against Eldorado since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Ozona Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Eldorado Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Ozona is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a hard 58-41 fall against Sonora.

Meanwhile, Eldorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of Forsan.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Ozona, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Ozona was able to grind out a solid win over Eldorado in their previous meeting on January 3rd, winning 58-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ozona since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
