Lakeland and Lansdale Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lakeland had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Crusaders 43-7. The Chiefs' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

David Naniewicz threw for 129 yards and one touchdown. Jackson Pochas was his top target, picking up 64 receiving yards.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Lansdale Catholic, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lansdale Catholic, they will face off against Williams Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven games.
