Basketball Game Preview: Howe Bulldogs vs. Blue Ridge Tigers

The Howe Bulldogs will square off against the Blue Ridge Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Howe came up short against Bells and fell 52-42. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1127th, while the Panthers are ranked 482nd).

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Gunter.

Howe's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Howe was able to grind out a solid win over Blue Ridge in their previous matchup back in January, winning 43-33. Will Howe repeat their success, or does Blue Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
