Basketball Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

Hillsboro lost against Wilsonville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hillsboro Spartans were outmatched by the Wilsonville Wildcats and fell 81-28. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hillsboro has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Wilsonville, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hillsboro will challenge La Salle at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th. As for Wilsonville, they will head out to square off against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Wilsonville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
