Basketball Recap: Richland Center Comes Up Short

Richland Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Lancaster Flying Arrows and fell 60-22. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 455th, while the Flying Arrows are ranked 146th).

Richland Center's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Lancaster, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Richland Center will challenge Dodgeville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Richland Center is facing Dodgeville at the right time seeing as Dodgeville is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Lancaster, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-37 win against Potosi/Cassville on the 4th.
