North Marion entered their tilt with Vanguard on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Marion got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 30-28, 25-20.

North Marion pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Vanguard, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, North Marion and Vanguard will both be playing Lake Weir the next time they take the court. Vanguard will head out to face Lake Weir at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while North Marion will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
