Piner fell victim to Maria Carrillo and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They were beaten by the Pumas 27-0. The Prospectors just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Piner's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Maria Carrillo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.
