Volleyball Recap: Flandreau Takes a Loss

Flandreau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Parker/Marion Pheasants.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-15.

When it comes to explaining why Flandreau lost, don't look at Addy Hammer. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and three assists. Hammer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Parker/Marion had a senior duo take command as Mara Mohr had 16 assists and 14 digs and Braelyn Berens had 17 digs.

Flandreau's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Parker/Marion, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flandreau will challenge Flandreau Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parker/Marion, they will square off against West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
