Baseball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett lost to Glacier Peak back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seagulls came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 8-2. The Seagulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Everett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Brunni, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Glacier Peak, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Everett will take on Stanwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Seagulls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Glacier Peak, they will face off against Kamiak at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Grizzlies 3.8, the Knights 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
