Soccer Game Preview: Johns Creek vs. Trinity Christian

The Johns Creek Gladiators will square off against the Trinity Christian Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Johns Creek had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Milton put an end to it last Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Eagles who were credited with the win. Milton got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Johns Creek's two. Johns Creek's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Trinity Christian will head out to face Johns Creek after giving up their first home loss of the season last Thursday. The Lions fell just short of Dutchtown by a score of 3-2. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Trinity Christian couldn't quite close it out.

Kathryn Andrews and Libby Clarke scored both of Trinity Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Johns Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
