Basketball Recap: Scio Takes a Loss

Scio lost against Taft back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Loggers fell 52-48 to the Tigers. The game marked the Loggers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Scio has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Taft, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scio will take on Colton in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Taft and Salem Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
