Baseball Recap: Tennyson Has No Trouble Against Mt. Diablo

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newark Memorial, Tennyson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mt. Diablo Red Devils an 8-0 shutout. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Lancers this season.

Tennyson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Ceja, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Tennyson back to even at 3-3. As for Mt. Diablo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Tennyson will be playing at home against San Lorenzo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. San Lorenzo will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Tennyson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Diablo, they will face off against Oakland at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
