Softball Recap: James Logan Has No Trouble Against Alameda

The James Logan Colts got the win against the Alameda Hornets on Wednesday by a conclusive 7-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Gabriella Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Nevaeh Hall-Flores, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Medellin, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

James Logan's record is now 11-2-1. As for Alameda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7-1.
