It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rancho Alamitos had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Hoover Tornados as they made off with a 15-6 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Vaqueros, who have now won six games in a row.

Rancho Alamitos' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.7 runs. As for Hoover, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Rancho Alamitos nor Hoover have any future games scheduled.
