After a string of eight wins, First Flight's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Lenoir Hawks by a score of 3-2.

First Flight actually scored more points across those five sets (105-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 12-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-12.

First Flight's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for North Lenoir, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

First Flight does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Lenoir, they will take on Randleman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
