The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wilbur Cross, who defeated 45th ranked Cheshire, 40-13. A.J. Consiglio threw for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.

West Haven extended the longest winning streak in Southern Connecticut Division I - East this week by beating Shelton, 35-26. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Blue Devils.

Nick van Dell put up the best numbers in passing as Hand defeated Notre Dame. He finished with 16 completions for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns. Van Dell's favorite target this week was Tom Wilson, who caught 3 passes for 59 yards.

The Tigers' van Dell and Wilson led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback van Dell has thrown for 1,940 yards this season, while Wilson has 44 catches for 678 yards. The Governors' Stevie Swinson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,424.

Conor Dowd has rushed for 914 yards on 179 carries so far this year.

Hand and the Green Knights played the closest game in the league this week, with Hand eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory. Van Dell ran for 36 yards in the win.
