Basketball Recap: Johnson Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Johnson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bowie Bulldogs 64-61. The win was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Bowie, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Johnson will be home for the holidays to greet San Marcos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Bowie, they are taking a road trip to face off against Dripping Springs at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. One thing working in Bowie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
