League recap: Kell moves into state Top 25

AAAAA Region 7B recap December 3, 2013

Kell was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Warner Robins. The Longhorns came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 43 last week.

Adding to the longest winning streak in AAAAA Region 7B this week, Kell beat the Demons 52-28. The win marks 13th in a row for the Derek Cook's team.

The Longhorns' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Cameron Rosendahl threw for 167 and 1 touchdown and Taylor Henkle had 80 yards receiving. On the ground Jay Moxey chipped in 120 yards. Bryson Armstrong helped Kell's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.

Kell's dynamic duo of Rosendahl and Henkle proved to be unstoppable against Warner Robins, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Armstrong helped Kell's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.

Kell's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Longhorns feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matthew McGuigan has thrown for 1,178 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Julian Burris has 42 catches for 774 yards.

The Longhorns took down Bryan Way's team 52-28 last week, the largest margin of any game. Rosendahl ran for 21 yards during the win.
