While Coastal Academy might've come up empty on Wednesday, David McKnight wasn't going down without a fight. McKnight wasn't messing around, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The matchup was his fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Even though McKnight couldn't lead Coastal Academy over Escondido Charter, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
