Basketball Recap: Issaquah Extends Winning Streak to Three

Issaquah entered their tilt with Inglemoor on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 71-56 win over the Inglemoor Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Inglemoor's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aman Sterling, who went 7 of 16 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Sterling's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Issaquah now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Inglemoor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Issaquah will host Hazen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Issaquah has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three contests. As for Inglemoor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Evergreen at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
