Football Game Preview: Hinton Blackhawks vs. Alta-Aurelia Warriors

The Hinton Blackhawks will face off against the Alta-Aurelia Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alta-Aurelia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hinton, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Hinton got the win against Lawton-Bronson by a conclusive 34-14. The Blackhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Alta-Aurelia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 52-14 defeat at the hands of Ridge View. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Raptors are ranked 77th).

Hinton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Alta-Aurelia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Hinton was able to grind out a solid win over Alta-Aurelia when the teams last played back in September of 2022, winning 40-28. Do the Blackhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
