Basketball Game Preview: Avon Orioles vs. Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils

The Avon Orioles will venture away from home to challenge the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Avon will be strutting in after a victory while Indianapolis Shortridge will be coming in after a defeat.

Avon was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Peru on Tuesday. Avon simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Peru 63-16. The Orioles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Shortridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Indianapolis Washington.

Indianapolis Shortridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Avon, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.
