Little Miami had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Anderson Raptors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 on Friday.

Little Miami got a great performance from Carter Sellers as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Sellers has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ian Sukup was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Cam Fox, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Little Miami's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Anderson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Miami will venture away from home to face off against Walnut Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Anderson, they will head out to challenge Highlands at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluebirds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Raptors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
