Baseball Game Preview: Minooka Indians vs. Oswego East Wolves

The Minooka Indians will square off against the Oswego East Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Minooka is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Minooka barely beat Oswego East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians blew past the Wolves 14-3 on Tuesday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

For Oswego East's part, Joe Grimm made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Minooka's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Oswego East, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10.
