Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fort Wayne South Side Archers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-14.

Elijah McKinney paced Fort Wayne Wayne's offense, picking up eight kills. McKinney got some help from Jackson Hickey and his 15 assists. Jayden Harris controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fort Wayne Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fort Wayne South Side, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Fort Wayne Wayne will be playing at home against Northridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Generals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Wayne South Side, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Bellmont on the 14th.
