Volleyball Recap: Voyager Academy Takes a Loss

Voyager Academy lost against Research Triangle on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Raptors.

Voyager Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Research Triangle work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 17-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Voyager Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Research Triangle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Voyager Academy will head out to face off against Northern Durham at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Research Triangle, they will welcome Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
