Softball Recap: Justin Garza's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

After flying high against Dos Palos last Tuesday, Justin Garza came back down to earth. The Guardians lost 8-1 to the Kerman Lions on Thursday. The match marked the Guardians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Justin Garza saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Escobedo, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Justin Garza fell to 11-1. As for Kerman, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Justin Garza wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-1 win against Madera South on the 2nd. As for Kerman, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Kingsburg on the 1st.
