Soccer Recap: Petaluma Comes Up Short

Petaluma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Napa Grizzlies. The shutout was out of character for the Trojans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Petaluma's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Napa, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Petaluma will take on American Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. American Canyon's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Napa, they will face off against Vintage at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vintage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
