Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacramento Waldorf, Victory Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They slipped by the Foresthill Wildfires 60-59. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 60-56 win the Wildfires walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Victory Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Milward out in front who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Smith, who earned 16 points.

Victory Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Foresthill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victory Christian will take on John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Victory Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season. As for Foresthill, they will challenge Encina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
