Football Recap: Keller Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Keller came into this matchup off a tough 35-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Byron Nelson Bobcat by a score of 30-27 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Bobcat recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Keller still got an impressive performance from Quintin Shropshire, who rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. The Indians are 2-1 when Shropshire posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Parker Almanza produced another solid effort throwing for 285 yards and one TD while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 74 yards for Byron Nelson. Another player making a difference was Franck Makong, who rushed for 81 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Keller now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Byron Nelson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
