Legion Collegiate Academy had already won four in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the Marvin Ridge Mavericks by a score of 3-1. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Mavericks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Legion Collegiate Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Legion Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Marvin Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
